THE HOUSE WAS set back behind a stone wall, at the end of a cul-de-sac off Coldwater Canyon between Beverly Hills and the San Fernando Valley. A gate gave access to a circular driveway, and the home was placed in Canyon fashion amid half an acre of hillside ivy and eucalyptus trees.
