Girls Aloud: Brighton Centre ****
Caroline Sullivan, Guardian, The, 15 May 2008
GIRLS ALOUD long ago ceased to be a guilty pleasure, and are now just a pleasure. It defies the laws of reality TV that they're not only well into their sixth year, but also continue to release records that are tutorials in pop excellence. Even if their musical input only extends to a couple of songwriting credits per album, they are indisputably the best pure-pop group currently operating.
