JUST LIKE Woodstock. Even before the New Riders of the Purple Sage kicked off Bill Graham's imported California Jam, bad acid circulated the main stand of Wembley Stadium. Despite ample warnings from the promoters, bad drugs spread quickly through the solid mass of denim that covered the ground. The medical tents were constantly full.
