Horslips On (Almost Everyone But) Horslips
Ira Robbins, Trouser Press, January 1978
THE FOLLOWING HORSLIPS interview was done in New York in mid-October. It has very little to do with the group or its music, but consists mainly of anecdotes about the Irish rock scene and various figures near and dear to the collective TP heart. The first time I met Eamon Carr he was wearing buttons for half a dozen different punk bands, something I would hardly have expected. We talked at length about the new wave; Eamon's younger brother publishes an Irish fanzine. At this interview, both Eamon and Barry Devlin had stories worth repeating, so here they are.
