THERE ARE several reasons why I’d like to backtrack a decade to my teenage years, but right now I can think of none better than Husker Du’s Warehouse: Songs And Stories. Even now when my taste in rock inclines increasingly away from the mainstream towards the maverick and retro-rootsy margins, this intensely traditional rock records blows my mind. Ten years ago it would have changed my life.
