THE FIRST time I met Ian Dury nearly two years ago in Dingwalls when I was little more than just another wide-eyed and a bit wet behind the ears fan of his personal brand of performance art he was extremely rude. "Hello Ian. Always liked your stuff". "Fuck off". That sort of thing, only more extreme and less pleasant.
