BACK IN 71, it seemed that the Sweet Baby was every body's favourite. He'd already had a massive hit with 'Fire And Rain', while a previous contract with Apple proved that even the Beatles had recognised his potential. 'You've Got A Friend', he sang. And Taylor obviously had plenty. Not only friends — he also had relatives. Which meant that the record companies — who believe strongly on genetics — signed 'em all.
