"WANKER" "RUBBISH", "R o c k 'n' ROLLL!!!!!" screamed the frustrated bopper just behind my right eardrum. He wasn't the only one. A distinct rumble of boos and groans echoed round the auditorium beneath the reverent applause and generally vociferous cheering.
