2008 NOTE: It's a cruel irony that JM Silk now seem like a footnote in music history, given that they were the act that broke Chicago's House sound in Britain – which was to dominate clubland for the next 20+ years – with the genre's first club hit ('Music Is The Key', Feb 86) and No. 1 pop hit ('Jack Your Body', Feb 87).
