John Prine: A Non Philosophical Singer/Songwriter?

WHEN I SPOKE to John Prine during a recent visit he made to Britain, he was searching, in this order, for his girlfriend (who plays bass in Don Everly's band), for the Cambridge Folk Festival, for the Loch Ness Monster, and for a tour promoter for his band. He was also touting advance copies of his seventh album, Storm Windows, which Asylum won't issue over here but which will hopefully be imported in good numbers.
