Johnnie Taylor: Eargasm
Cliff White, NME, 24 April 1976
THAT THIS ALBUM has already been such an overwhelming success in America must surely be due to US Columbia's marketing techniques rather than the music, for although it's a grade A release, possibly even Taylor's finest, one could hardly call it a revolutionary change of style. In fact the label switch has no bearing on the contents whatsoever.
