Led Zeppelin: Bonzo's Last Bash – Is It The End For Zeppelin Too?
Cynthia Rose, NME, 4 October 1980
EARLY LAST Thursday afternoon Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones went up to one of the guest bedrooms in Jimmy Page's £900,000 Windsor house, where he found the dead body of the group's drummer John Bonham. Bonham was at first thought to have choked to death on his own vomit but this theory was not borne out by the post-mortem.
