YOU MIGHT HAVE noticed that Loudon Wainwright III has been in Great Britain recently, completing the second lap of his tour; you might have noticed but probably you didn't. The tour has suffered from maximum under-publicity, something which can no doubt be explained by the fact that he's between companies right now, having signed off with CBS and signed on with his former boss Clive Davis at Arista Records.
