Maria Muldaur: Maria Muldaur

I CONSIDER it unfair, even immoral, for Maria Muldaur to look and sing so well. I mean, a reviewer like myself can get pretty worked up over a beautiful girl singing in a seductive voice "Lover man where can you be?" or "Come lie down beside me, honey." Chances are I'll never get to meet Maria, even though I've been mooning over her since I first heard her singing with Jim Kweskin. Her performance on 'Sheik Of Araby' still sends shivers up my spine. And this new LP is no help at all. It's better than all the rest, and it's keeping me up at night.
