Misty In Roots: Live At The Counter-Eurovision ‘79
Vivien Goldman, NME, 26 July 1980
IT SEEMS POINTLESS to divorce Misty's music from their well-known context as Southall youth organisers whose People Unite self-help organisation was badly damaged by the Special Patrol Group in the troubles last April. One of Misty's main qualities is a deep seriousness which transforms their almost unvarying rhythms into a remorseless, inexorable roll of music, the steady forward march of armed artillery.
