Osibisa: Fairfield Hall, Croydon
Chas de Whalley, NME, 24 April 1976
ONLY CRITICAL SNOBBERY could deny Osibisa the distinction of having played one of the finest sets I have seen this side of Christmas. On this final night of a nationwide tour that consolidated their first-ever single success with 'Sunshine Day', Osibisa made their mistakes, but such was their energy, enthusiasm and zest that they'd hardly been on stage for 20 minutes before the hitherto staid and polite audience were on their feet dancing and chanting.
