"Roger [Daltrey] speaks a lot about the magic that happens when the three of us get together to play," says Pete Townshend, who spent two tumultuous decades and then some inscribing rock'n'roll history alongside the singer in the mighty Who. "I have to say I've yet to experience that," he laughs, perhaps a little sorry that he can't quite share his bandmate's unabashed enthusiasm.
