Poco: A Good Feeling To Know
Mick Gold, Let It Rock, April 1973
IT ALL DEPENDS what you expect an LP to do. If you'd like 40 minutes of rhythmic pap to plug a hole in your air space, this album may be what you're looking for. But if you'd like your music to take you some place you don't yet know about, to make you cry or dance, to move you, then don't bother. This is a thoroughly mediocre album by a thoroughly competent group, and it's a pity because it contains the signs that they could make something much better.
