JOHN 'SPEEDY' KEEN is the rock and roll war-horse who wrote 'Something In The Air' for Thunderclap Newman. He's recovered from that – scarred of mind but sound of spirit – to produce a solo album, titled Previous Convictions, which my colleague Roy Carr thinks is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
