Ten Years After: Alvin Lee & Company
Jim Esposito, Zoo World, 3 February 1973
ONE OF THE most eagerly awaited albums lately was Alvin Lee & Company. "That's old material that was recorded a long time ago," Alvin stated simply. "It was inferior material for the Stonedhenge album. It didn't get put on, and because we left Deram after Watt they put it out themselves. We didn't like it, so we tried to do everything we could to stop it. We didn't like the title, we didn't like the material. However, unfortunately, it was in the contract we had signed when we were pretty green so they could do it."
