The dB's, Mitch Easter and Sneakers: Bowery Ballroom, New York, NY

THOUGH CAROLINA-to-Hoboken legends the dB's already had their first reunion gigs at Maxwell's in Hoboken last fall, this Gotham show was their big coming-out party, especially since it meant that there was other history happening that night, providing a well-spring of old school East Coast indie-pop. Witnessing this was a packed crowd of your typical classic-rock gathering: middle-aged white guys (like myself).
