Long before there was Spinal Tap, there was something else that stood for all that is inept in rock'n'roll. A fading pop group assembled in a studio in 1970 to record a single. They failed disastrously. Ever since then, tapes of that session have kept musicians' undertrousers moist with mirth. It is our pleasure — nay, our duty — to present them.
