THE MO-DETTES first emerged towards the end of 1978, after guitarist Kate Korus (aka Katherine Corris, formerly of the Slits) and drummer June Miles-Kingston met on the set of The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle. Both were working as production assistants.
