IF THE Pretenders proved nothing else at their sold-out concert at Lisner Auditorium last night, they did establish that vocalist/rhythm guitarist/songwriter Chrissie Hynde deserves her reputation as a major figure in rock for the '80s. Other groups and other individuals have fallen into the high-level hype that the Pretenders received earlier this year. Don't worry. These Pretenders are for real.
