TLC: Spice Who?

THE EXPRESSION "eagerly anticipated" may be one of the most played out in the lexicon of show business. Not because fans don't fiend for new product from their favorite artists but because absence often doesn't make the heart grow fonder or the chart impact any more significant. Sometimes you can totally disappear off the cultural radar screen, rev up the engines, burst back in a blaze of hoopla and find your triumphant return met with a thundering... shrug. Nothing is a given. No one can get Superstar tattooed on their arm and sleep easy with the decision. When a generational span is the time between the hit and the remix, ain't nobody really eagerly anticipating nobody, are they?
