IN JANUARY OF 1992, singer Vince Neil appeared on the cover of this magazine, lighting a cigar with a thousand-dollar bill. His band, Mötley Crüe, had just signed a $25-million, four-album deal with Elektra. Their latest album, Dr. Feelgood, had sold quintuple platinum and their high-tech extravaganza live shows were packing stadiums all over the world. Slender, golden-haired and grinning, Neil looked almost a dead ringer for his sexy blonde wife, Sharise.
