Phast Phreddie Patterson

Founded L.A.'s BACK DOOR MAN in 1975, paving the way for the punk rock/new wave scene of the late '70s. Since then he has written for SLASH, the LA WEEKLY, NEW YORK ROCKER, ROCK SCENE and BILLBOARD. He has managed acts, written songs and sung in bands. He's a poet, a painter, a recovering alcoholic and a connoisseur of fine '60s soul records. He lives in Brooklyn.
