Carl Wilson
Steven Rosen, Player (Japan), 2005
AT A TIME when the venerable institution of the Beach Boys was threatening to disassemble itself during the late 70s and early 80s, youngest Wilson Carl ventured out on his own to record a solo album. Simply called Carl Wilson, it harkened back to the visionary vocal arrangements made famous by the world's most successful surf band and on a track like 'Heaven', the guitarist was truly able to manifest the magic and passion that was the yardstick of so many of the BB albums.
