Charles R. Cross: Backstreets and Marc Eliot: Down Thunder Road
David Sinclair, Q, September 1992
BACKSTREETS IS THE AMERICAN quarterly fanzine whose editors maintain a painstaking and uncritical log of the life of Bruce Springsteen. First published in November 1989, their coffee-table anthology, Backstreets – Springsteen: The Man And His Music (a sort of Best Of Backstreets) is now available in paperback. Apart from being updated to take in the release of Human Touch and Lucky Town, it remains essentially the same, highly detailed eulogy as reviewed in Q40.
