EC Is PC: Eric Clapton at the Royal Albert Hall, 25 May 2006
Richard English, Rock's Backpages, May 2006
ON A SUNNY SPRING evening Eric Clapton gave his sixth of seven gigs at the Royal Albert Hall, the "nation's village hall" as Queen Victoria dubbed it, on the 41 concert European leg of his 2006/07 World Tour. He was cool, very cool. In fact, he didn't seem to sweat at all. No tell-tale patches under the arms of his orange shirt or streams of perspiration flooding down his face and dropping onto his baggy jeans and crepe soled loafers.
