Felt: The Strange Idol Pattern And Other Short Stories (Cherry Red)
Martin Aston, Melody Maker, 3 November 1984
THERE IS A singular atmosphere to Felt's music. Their dreamy guitar excursions are a pure extension of mood, not intent, and as such have no message. Still, they rise above anonymity, but there's a vagueness to their real identity. Certainly not everyone could stomach such a lack of clout and projection.
