THERE WAS A time when the Dutch folk scene just mirror-imaged that of Britain. For every traddie rendering 'Lord Randall' or 'Twa Corbies' at Loughborough or some other English folk fest, there was a clog-footed equivalent doing exactly the same thing, using exactly the same voice and using the same inflections, in a folk club in Amsterdam or Utrecht.
