Sat square in his little hotel chair like some Great Panjandrum surprised by a person of some impertinence, eyes rolling beneath his embroidered headgear, this amiable behemoth with a bonecrushing handshake gradually got his thoughts together: an awkward giant who decides he will talk, after all.
