IT WAS deejay George Wood who originally tagged Jerry Butler "The Iceman" because of his on-stage cool and it's still an especially appropriate nickname, not just because the man's debut Motown set is bang in the mould of his The Iceman Cometh and Ice On Ice Mercury sets but because he has just taken over Chicago distributorship of Carling Black Label lager!
