John Hiatt: Riding With The King
Richard Cook, NME, 1983
SOMETIMES I think nuthin iz new in this old rock music, and every time it seems I have to turn to John Hiatt to shake me up again. Riding With The King is as close to perfect as Hiatts been before, still some millimetres short of the mark, and as vigorous and violent a massage of the rock heart as we can rightfully expect.
