Lewis Capaldi: Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh
Lisa Verrico, The Times, 15 August 2019
EVERY LEWIS Capaldi gig has a gag — OK, several, but typically one that runs. At Glastonbury it was the singer's Oasis-baiting attire. In Glasgow it was the Chewbacca mask he auctioned for charity afterwards. At the first of two Edinburgh outdoor shows, it was fireworks. Or more precisely, the Tattoo fireworks, which Capaldi hoped would coincide with the end of his set.
