Neil Young: Brixton Academy, London
Sylvie Simmons, MOJO, July 2002
DANGEROUS PLACE, Brixton. Neil Young figured he should alert the 4,300 fans who packed out his first night at the Academy that if he played much past 11, they might not make it home in one piece. "Don't worry," he deadpanned, "we'll play till 1am." A "joke", he added, but it does a decent job of encapsulating his equivocal attitude towards his followers.
