Peter Green: The End Of The Game
Harry Shapiro, Record Collector, August 1993
PETER GREEN'S decision in June 1967 to quit his role as lead guitarist with John Mayall's Bluesbreakers brought one era of British blues to an end and inaugurated its successor. As we saw last month, Green's work with Mayall (notably on the album A Hard Road) established him as one of the premier blues guitarists in the world.
