Shack: Waterpistol
Kieron Tyler, unpublished, December 2017
WATERPISTOL WAS meant to be Shack's second album. Although work towards completing the follow-up to March 1988's Zilch had begun in 1990, nothing went to plan. No one knew it then, but Waterpistol – finally nailed down in 1991 – was belatedly issued in October 1995 by Marina Records, a small German label which knew the album was missing in action and had decided to make good on a hunch that it had to be terrific.
