Last year saw the UK publication of Stoned, a wonderfully insightful film/fashion/music overview of the first Britpop era (1960-1964) by Andrew Loog Oldham, perhaps best known as the man who – as their first manager and producer – helped to create The Rolling Stones. Stoned will go a long way in further educating people as to the impact this man had on ’60s pop and rock.
