The Black Crowes: G Rose Lord Park, Toronto, Canada; Shea's, Buffalo, USA
Paul Elliott, Kerrang!, 12 September 1992
THE FIRST of these dates was a free open air concert; a gift to Toronto rock radio station Q-107, who've supported the Black Crowes since the release of their debut album Shake Your Money Maker. Perhaps inevitably, the station dubbed the event 'Q-Stock' after the legendary '60s hippiefest Woodstock. Still, at least it's better than the name of the star DJ/compere, Joey Vendetta!
