Flo & Eddie: Illegal, Immoral and Fattening

INSIDIOUS. Here we have the mainspring of the Turtles, Mark Volman and Howard Kaylan, with an album that contains two songs (‘Rebecca’ and ‘Let Me Make Love to You’) which gush the hummable harmlessness so essential to their several hit singles of yesteryear. But the kid who hears either on the Big K-whatever in his town and then trucks the album home is in for a surprise, and his parents for a coronary if they happen to be within earshot.
