Albert Hammond: The Free Electric Band

Jon Tiven, Rolling Stone, 16 August 1973

ALBERT HAMMOND makes pure pop music and although ‘It Never Rains in California’ was merely annoying, ‘The Free Electric Band’ was a giant step forward. If he can continue producing material as infectious as makes up half of this album, he may become a one-man Three Dog Night.
