During the time I spent submerging myself gleefully into its limpleg-inducing lines of pessimism and its corrupting details of challenge, two things happened in the space of a few days that intensified, in an indulgent and totally irrelevant way, my curiosity in Wilson's outlines and establishment of this figure, The Outsider.
