ACCORDING TO the sticker on my copy of this album, Cafe Carolina contains (so far) four hits: 'That's the Thing About Love', 'Maggie's Dream', 'Beautiful Woman', and 'It's Time for Love'. But listening to the music, it's hard to tell the hits from the non-hits, and that's a measure of both Don Williams' appeal and his dilemma. Everything sounds the same, now more than ever.
