Foetus: Mama Kin, Boston

Jim Sullivan, The Boston Globe, 5 August 1995

IT'S BEEN THREE years since he last toured, and about 15 years since he burst onto the post-punk, avant-garde rock scene: an outré Australian singer-songwriter with a penchant for unearthing emotional dirt and picking through the psychic detritus to forge his art. His music was hard and harsh, unforgiving. At the time, it was pegged as "industrial rock".
