YOU HAVE to admire Pat Kane for at least attempting to combine rhetoric with rhythm, message with melody. I am sure Hue And Cry succeed in writing songs that are both intelligent and entertaining, but entertainment is such a subjective concept: one man's aural rapture is another man's Julian Cope.
