IT IS indicative of the changing face of pop that on the cover of Lilac Time's new LP, And Love For All, recorded in early summer, front person Stephen Duffy sports an uncompromising cliff-face quiff. On stage at the Bloomsbury Theatre three months later, it has become a lunatic fringe, hiding the knitted brow but foolishly not the knitted cardigan.
