John Abbey, Blues & Soul, 22 January 1971
THERE ARE numerous vocal groups that never make the Top 10 of the National Chart. Most of these acts simply fade into obscurity or carry on working locally or the members part company and go back to working outside of the music industry. However, there is a handful of select groups, who, because of the professional approach both to recording and live appearances that they adopt, just carry on in the background notching up good sales and drawing large audiences everywhere they play.
