Michael Jackson: Off The Wall (Epic FE 35745)****

David Hepworth, Sounds, 15 September 1979

IF ANYONE was worried whether Michael Jackson could keep his act in one piece in the face of the inexorable march of the years (the shaver must be within touching distance of his twenties by this point and showing at least some signs of physical vegetation) can be reassured that the precocious prodigy is doing just Grade A fine and adapting to maturity by taking a greater part in his own presentation without tumbling into the bowl of vain cosmic slop which is so often passed off as "creativity" in the soul sphere.

Total word count of piece: 400
